1.)
Use a sunscreen even if you already have a tan. This is the most
important rule to remember. You should
use a sunscreen any time you are out in the sun - yes...even if it is cloudy out and even
if you already have a tan! Dermatologists concur that if you are out in the sun for more
than 15 minutes, you should apply a sunscreen with an SPF of 30. We recommend Guinot's SUN SCREEN SPF 30 HIGH
PROTECTION CREAM (Ecran Soleil) for use on all
sensitive zones. Generous application will protect the skin with extra-strong reflective
filters. Guinot guarantees the protection of areas made vulnerable to UV rays. The water
resistant formula will protect the skin even while bathing. To get a tanned appearance
before you go to the beach or pool, try a self tanner like Guinot's SELF-TANNING CREAM
SPF 4 for the face and body. With Guinot's Self-Tanning Cream for the face
and body you can now have a healthy, tanned face
and body any time of the year. You can get a quick tan without the damaging UV rays of the
sun. Self-Tanning Cream moisturizes the skin as it protects and can also intensify and
unify a natural tan. Now that you know the tools you need, the next important rule to
remember is:
2.) Reapply your
sunscreen every two hours faithfully. Remember, there is no such thing as a
completely waterproof, perspire-proof, or wipe-proof sunscreen. Even when the label on the
sunscreen states that it is water resistant or waterproof, you should reapply every two
hours or get out of the sun.
3.) Remember to apply sunscreen to your feet and ears. These spots are
easy to forget and some people never appy sunscreen to these areas. However, there are an
expected 1.3 million cases of skin cancer this year and those spots are just as vulnerable
as anywhere else on the body.
4.) Your lips require extra protection. Our lips are
thin-skinned and especially susceptible to damage from the sun's harmful rays. Sunburns on
the lips can be very painful and prone to the development of the lines and wrinkles
associated with aging. In the case of the lips, sunscreen should be applied every hour at
least for optimal protection.

5.) After sun skin care. The prime objectives of
facial and body care are a soft skin, moisturization, firmness, protection and well-being.
With regular and appropriate care, your skin will be protected even after exposure to the
sun. Guinot has created specific sources based on specific skin care needs. With these
sources we at last have access to a complete range of treatments which, because they are
perfectly targeted in terms of the Moisturization, Nutrition, Firmness, Youthful
Appearance, Radiance, Purity or Well-being of the skin, are able to produce spectacular
