This season's fashion story is
colorful and fun, ladylike and sexy, sophisticated with a touch of
the unexpected. Sounds a lot like Las Vegas - and the Las Vegas Collection by OPI!

Spring fashion revolves around the
dress in styles for every body - full-skirted dresses, shirt dresses, wrap
dresses, coat dresses and camisole dresses. Prints are a big story this season, including
delicate florals, bold paisleys and fun polka dots, always in soft fabrics including fluid
satin, shiny charmeuse and chiffon.
Colors are rich pastels
like robin's egg blue, pink, melon, yellow and lilac, and neutrals such as white, ecru,
taupe, pewter, putty.
Las Vegas Collection shades:
It's Sheer Luck (baby pink), Cha-Ching Cherry (vivid red), 3 Plums, I Win! (plum purple).
Pretty pairings abound
- think tiered jackets topping short, full skirts; cargo-style skirts paired with
sleeveless silk safari vests; casual T-shirts with beaded skirts and the most feminine,
satiny dresses surprising under suede jackets. Trousers also boast a new feminine feel,
with a high or natural waist, a slim line and full or flared bottoms. And the pencil skirt
is back, this time making headlines when created in satin with sporty zippers as accents,
or with a ruffled hem or a slit.
With a nod to the 1940s,
jacket shoulders are sharper and more constructed than in previous years for a touch of
glamour.
Las Vegas Collection shades:
Evening looks come straight out of
The Great Gatsby and are ladylike and sexy at the same time - a winning
combination! You'll see sheer, floaty 1920s style dresses cut on the bias with
handkerchief hems, in weightless silks and jerseys - and lots of fluid satin and
charmeuse! Light-as-a-kiss colors like champagne beige and soft pink keep the look modern
and romantic.
