A black beaded dress with sapphire blue boots
from Roberto Cavalli, a garnet full skirt with cobalt blue wrap top from BCBG, and a plum
and blue short jacket over a scallop-hemmed olive blouse from Matthew Williamson: Get ready for fabulous, in-your-face color this Fall!
Who says autumn can't be intense? Miu Miu's
blood red and orange coat reflects the season's falling leaves. From the same collection,
Essie also liked the suede jewel-tone patchwork jackets and the rust-orange melange blouse
topped with a pale grape cardigan.
Summer's retro feeling has been updated, as
in Versace's nipped-waist espresso sheepskin jacket with a big shawl collar or Armani's
red wrap coat with asymmetrical portrait neckline. The suit to buy (or copy) is Giorgio
Armani's in deepest amethyst: full pants to just below the knee and a long, fitted jacket
plus a wrap blouse in the palest mauve.
The best shoes trotted down Narcisco Rodriguez's runway: a rose suede short boot with
chunky heel and a to-die-for deep lilac alligator court pump. Essie spied sandals galore,
so pedicures continue to be a year-round necessity. In the purse department, think small
and structured, like Gucci's boxy bags. The hat of the moment? Armani's tall, asymmetrical
