Loose, fluid, romantic dresses in a variety of styles were seen everywhere on the fashion
runways (often in eyelet), as was a sporty look (short skirts, polo shirts, stripes. Soft
layers are in, and the trench coat returns, with new feminine details and fabrics. Also
look for lace and embroidery embellishments and floral patterns.

Wide-legged, wide-cuffed pants, swingy skirts, and blouses as well as fitted tops and
cardigans are big this season, as are pretty shift dresses and prtrait-collar skirt suits
with a 1960's, First Lady retro influence. For evening, simple sheath dresses in silk or
chiffon and long, bare-shouldered, column dresses make a stunning statement. Oversized
jewels appear on necklaces, handbags and as hair accessories.
Neutral shades of beige, shite, grey and balck bring a sophisticated feel to the season's
styles, with accents of bright color for fun. Also look for metallics (especially gold) to
add a gleam of glamour.
